Embodied Woman: Resource and Renew  
Experiential weekend workshop in Aegina - Greece

This is a two day workshop - with an option to extend your stay into 4-5 day private retreat at Oikia Karapanou.

 

This weekend is for women: therapists, psychologists, group facilitators and those working in the helping professions - who are interested in Embodied Psychotherapy and would like to explore this approach experientially.

The weekend will be beneficial for both personal and professional development - as learning will be from the ‘inside out’.

 

Embodied Psychotherapy draws on a range of techniques from the practices of body-oriented psychotherapy, dance movement psychotherapy, somatic experiencing, somatic trauma therapy, neuroscience, creative arts, transpersonal psychotherapy and somatic mindfulness.
 

During the weekend we are going to be working with connecting to resourceful states through the body, in order to re-charge, renew and offer space for self-compassion and self-care. We'll be exploring through embodiment, creative arts, dance, sounding and movement to give expression to emotions and what we might ‘hold’ in our bodies.  

 

We will also be drawing on transpersonal approach to healing, using visualisation and meditation  as a way to connect with the body. We will be working both indoors and outdoors.

The aim of this weekend is to create a safe and supportive women's circle -  where we will be exploring our relationship to ourselves and others. We will be exploring how your own body can be a resource in your own practice with clients, as well as how to strengthen and recharge yourself through grounding and other embodied practices.

CPD certificate of 14 hours will be issued on completion of the weekend
